Better mornings start here

40% of UK adults struggle to get up on time. For many, the smartphone is a primary obstacle.

Waking up late throws your morning routine. Some things get rushed. Others don't happen at all.

The Kimru Clock helps you begin your day as intended. No apps or phones needed.

How it works

How it works

A two-part system addressing the cognitive and physiological changes needed to get up on time.

Part I: Unavoidable Action

To deactivate the alarm, place the clock on the Control Base kept in another room. This removes the option to rationalise staying in bed, known in behavioural science as present bias. No cancelling or snoozing alarms by design.

Part II: Movement Activation

Once you're up, the hardest part is over. Physical movement is one of the most reliable ways to cut through the cognitive fog that makes a return to sleep so tempting. Your body pulls your brain into wakefulness.

Repeated actions become habits

Repeated actions become habits

The Kimru Clock becomes a new routine, one that restores control over consistency. A routine repeated builds a habit.

This is best illustrated using a re-work of the Habit Loop, as introduced by Charles Duhigg in his book, The Power of Habit.

Binding intention to enviroment

Binding intention to enviroment

The Kimru Clock bridges the gap between "Night You" and "Morning You", where the act of setting and re-setting using the control base creates a physical ritual.
